How can you make a difference?
Your support of the Ipswich Grammar School Building Fund plays a vital role in shaping the future of Ipswich Grammar School. By contributing to this fund, as generations of supporters have done before you, you directly assist in the development and enhancement of our School’s facilities, helping to create an exciting environment where boys can learn, grow and thrive as part of our Building for the Future initiative.
Your generosity enables us to invest in state-of-the-art classrooms, contemporary facilities and innovative technology, ensuring our boys have access to the best educational resources and opportunities now and into the future.
Building the Future of Boarding
Since 1863, boarding has been at the heart of Ipswich Grammar School, shaping generations of boys through shared opportunities, values and traditions.
We are pleased to announce that construction of our new Boarding House will begin on 1 June 2026, following the appointment of Bryant Building Contractors as construction partner. The $33 million development is set for completion in late 2027, ready to welcome boarders for the 2028 school year.
This project represents the first stage of our broader Building for the Future initiative, designed to ensure our facilities continue to reflect the exceptional standards of education and care we provide for our boys. More than simply new buildings, this initiative is about creating an environment where students can flourish academically, socially and personally, supported by spaces that foster connection, character and growth.
Your contribution is an investment in the future of Ipswich Grammar School and in the education of future generations of boys.
A range of naming rights opportunities are currently available, and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss these with you further. To learn more about these exciting opportunities, please contact our Community Development Manager, Mrs Carol Levinge, at clevinge@ipswichgrammar.com
The Ipswich Grammar School Building Fund is a registered charity, and all donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
